ROPARUN 2012 DYLANGROUPRUNNERS
ROPARUN 2012 - DYLAN GROUP
The Dylan Group of companies takes her social responsibilities seriously. This starts by including a separate paragraph in our company policy concerning the corporate social responsibility, and results in actions that make a positive contribution to society.
Based on the abovementioned policy, we decided in 2009 to participate in the Roparun with our team, the DylanGroupRunners. The Roparun is a relay-race of approximately 520 kilometres from Paris to Rotterdam, in order to raise money for people who suffer from cancer, under the motto: “Add life to the days, where days can no longer be added to life” (for more information see: www.roparun.org).
The objective of the DylanGroupRunners is to raise as much money as possible for the Roparun Foundation. DylanGroup facilitates this objective in two ways. First, DylanGroup asks all employees to assist in the organization and fund raising activities of the DylanGroupRunners and to make it a success for DylanGroup as a whole. Secondly, DylanGroup pays all costs to prepare and realize the relay-race with the DylanGroupRunners team, which makes it possible to pay the full amount raised to the Roparun Foundation.
All funds are realized by asking our relations to sponsor the team, by organizing fund raising events and by selling lottery tickets. In the first 3 years from our participation (started in 2009) we raised a total amount of € 254,155 for the Roparun Foundation, and ended every year in the top 5 of fund raisers.
For 2012 too, DylanGroup has decided to participate with the DylanGroupRunners (team: 061). The relay-race will be run in the weekend of 26 - 28 May 2012. More information about our team, sponsors and fund raising activities can be found on our website: www.dylangrouprunners.nl.
